Providence Catholic Names 46 Illinois State Scholars

The award is given to students in the top 10 percent of high school seniors.

Dr. John Harper, Principal of Providence Catholic High School is pleased to announce that 46 students have been recognized as 2015-2016 Illinois State Scholars. This prestigious award is given annually by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) that recognizes the top high school students from across the state as this year’s State Scholars. Illinois State Scholars represent approximately the top ten percent of high school seniors, hailing from 671 different high schools across the state. Selection is based on SAT, ACT or Prairie State Achievement Exam scores at the end of the junior year.
