Raid on Orland Park Teen's Home Recovers Felonious Amount of Cannabis, Coke and Cash: COPS
Orland Park police and SSERT team conducts early morning raid Friday after receiving information of illegal drug sales, police said.

ORLAND PARK, IL -- An early morning police raid yielded a felonious amount of cannabis, cocaine, scales and packaging materials at an Orland Park teen’s home, police said in a news release. Belal A. Zamat, 18, was charged with possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance. Cash was also allegedly recovered from the home.
Acting on information regarding possible unlawful drug sales, Orland Park Police and the South Suburban Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant early Friday morning in the 18000 block of Erickson Court. There, officers recovered contraband and the packaging materials along with cash at the teen’s home, police said. Zamat was being held pending a bond hearing Saturday in the Leighton Criminal Courts Building at 26th and California.
