Rainbow Cone Coming Back to The Creamery
Your eyes are not deceiving you. The sweet treat will be back in the suburbs, at two Creamery locations.

It’s back!
Rainbow Cone has returned to the Creamery—but just at two of the ice cream shops. Jillian Hersted, new owner of three Creamerys said staff members at the Orland Hills and Mokena locations were busy this week training on how to build the five-tiered treat.
Fans were heartbroken when word spread that the Chicago original had ended its relationship with the south suburban ice cream chain, and the cones would no longer be sold there. The Creamery’s seven locations went up for auction April 7, after owner Bill McEnery stated he would be taking on a new role with an investment bank, leaving him no time for the business.

“We were aware of the demand from the Mokena, Orland Hills and surrounding communities so we are so excited to bring Rainbow Cone back to those two stores,” Hersted said.
