Readers Choice: Who Makes the Tastiest Steak in Orland?

Lent is over. Let's celebrate with a big hunk of seared meat. Vote and review your favorite steak server in the area to decide who makes the Most Loved Steak in Orland.

Nothing makes me feel more sympathy for a vegetarian than a medium rare filet, just calling to be eaten.

With that notes, this is a contest for the meat lovers. It’s pretty awesome to slice into a nice charred exterior with a good amount of pink below (if you overcook steak, I almost feel as bad for you as the vegetarians), especially with Lent over.

Patch is looking for you, the dedicated readers, to help us find the most loved steak in the area. We have a few nominations from Facebook and through emails from readers. Now it’s up to you to decide with three options.

3. Leave a comment below, vouching for your favorite beef griller.

The poll will be weighted, and the reviews and comments play a big part in who wins, so there are a lot of ways to participate. If we missed a restaurant, let me know and we’ll add them to the directory list.

Then what? The winner will go on to a toe-to-toe with our Tinley Park winner.

Voting and comments will be closed on April 21.

The champion will get a framed, hangable certificate proclaiming them keepers of the Most Loved Steak in Orland and Tinley.

What’s the point of all this? To get people talking about our local businesses again. If you haven’t been to one in a while, I bet they miss you.
