ORLAND PARK, IL — On Thursday, Feb. 10, Orland Township hosted their winter craft show entitled “Feel Fabulous February”. The event not only helped benefit the Orland Township Scholarship Foundation, but also shined a light on a number of small businesses.

Over 100 guests had the opportunity to browse goods from 18 vendors who had plenty to offer; including specially hand painted, customized glasses from Lea’s Girlfriend Gifts, makeup products from Busy Bee Beauty, located locally in Tinley Park, and several different types of natural skincare products handcrafted by Tendaji Body Oils.

“Feel Fabulous February was a perfect way to support every member of our communities, by enabling local residents to relax and enjoy a nice evening of shopping, all while supporting small businesses the Orland Township Scholarship Foundation.” Said Supervisor Paul O’Grady.

The Orland Township Scholarship Foundation awards scholarship funds to local students based on academic achievement and community service. The Scholarship Foundation helps graduating Township high school seniors each year to have the resources they need to pay for the escalating cost of college. The foundation invests in the long-term future of Orland Township’s most valuable commodity - the youth. Additional events supporting the Orland Township Scholarship Foundation are planned to be held in the coming months, and more information can be found on the Township’s website, at orlandtownship.org/upcoming-events.
