Returning Generations at St. Anne's Gifts

The Orland Park gift shop has sold religious gifts to families for three decades.

For 30 years, at 15160 S. La Grange Road has provided the community with gifts to meet their Christian spiritual needs.

The store is filled with books, crosses, story cards and pictures. A full line of Precious Moments statues and Fontanini figurines are available as well as rosaries and visor clips.

Owner John Harrison Jr., makes sure the store has a wide variety of items to meet any occasion. First communion and baptism items can be found along with sterling silver jewelry and bumper stickers.

John Jr. and his sister Mary Harrison bought  the store from their father John Harrison Sr. when he retired. Both John Jr. and Mary worked in the store with their father before he retired. John Jr. tries to keep the lessons in mind he learned while working side-by-side with his father.

“I do my best to keep the customers happy,” John Jr. said.

Generations of customers return to the shop, John Jr. said. He has seen older people who bought from his father return with their grandkids in tow to  buy their first communion book. St. Anne’s Gifts is a family-owned business and each customer is treated as an extension of the family tree.
