Woman Found Deceased In Moraine Valley Campus Restroom Identified

PALOS HILLS, IL -- The body of a woman found deceased Thursday morning on the Moraine Valley Community College campus has been identified as 29-year-old Renee Zagajowski. Moraine Valley campus police responded to a report of an unresponsive person around 10 a.m. in a restroom in Building G. An autopsy is pending.

College police alerted students, faculty and staff to the death investigation on campus. Moraine Valley officers concluded that the death was not suspicious. “At no time was there any threat to the campus community,” the alert said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office identifies Zagajowski’s address as being in the 25900 block of West Elmwood in Wauconda. The woman’s name appears on the Moraine Valley President’s List for the fall 2017 semester showing her as an honors student residing in Tinley Park.
