Ed Kelly Named Sertoma Centre's 'Sertoman of the Year'

Orland Park resident Ed Kelly presented with Sertoma Centre's 'Service To Mankind Award" for work on behalf of people with disabilities.

ALSIP, IL -- An Orland Park man was presented with the Service to Mankind Sertoman of the Year Award by the Sertoma Centre in Alsip. Edward Kelly was recognized as an individual who demonstrates an elevated level of dedication.

Kelly is a long-time Sertoman who has devoted his talents to helping Sertoma Centre participants reach their full potential. He volunteers extensively both at Sertoma Centre events throughout the year and with the ACTION Sertoma Club, of which he is a member, working tirelessly to raise dollars for and consciousness about issues facing individuals with disabilities.

Sertoma Centre provides opportunities that empower individuals with disabilities to achieve personal success. The 48-year-old organization operates extensive day and residential programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and those living with mental illness.
