Disco-Themed Fashion Store Opens Soon In Tinley Park
Disco Beauty will take shoppers back to the 1970's with fashion items inspired by the likes of Diana Ross and Donna Summer.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Might not want to tell Chicago radio shock jock Steve Dahl, but disco is back. Disco Beauty, that is. It's a new fashion store opening on Oak Park Avenue in Tinley Park next week.
"We sell everything from cosmetics to women's fashion," said Lisa Turner, a longtime disco fan herself and Orland Park homeowner who owns the 1970's-themed store set to open on Wednesday, Feb. 12 in a storefront at 17038 S. Oak Park Avenue. A grand opening celebration is planned for that day at 10 a.m. and an online store will go live at that same time.
"We'll have everything glamorous from the disco era," Turner said. "A lot of our fashion is inspired from Diana Ross, Donna Summer and others from that time."

While shopping at Disco Beauty, customers will hear disco music on the speakers and funky lighting that will keep up with the beat.
"I always thought Tinley Park was missing this type of store," Turner said, referring to the village's close connection with music, the 'Life Amplified' theme and the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in town.

"Outside of Burlington, Tinley really hasn't had any fashion stores," Turner said.
Disco Beauty will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day of the week.
"I'm very excited about this opening," Turner said. "It's going to be a place where you can buy some great products, and while shopping listen to the best music from the disco era."
"Coming into this store... it's going to be an experience you aren't going to want to miss."
