Sandburg athletes sign to compete at collegiate level
Athletes, family members, and coaches celebrate their hard work and finalize their college selection
Sandburg High School's Athletic Department hosted a senior signing ceremony for athletes signing letters of intent to continue their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level. The
breakfast was an opportunity for the athletes, their family members, and coaches to celebrate their hard work and finalize their college selection.
The nine athletes recognized included: Anna Loureiro - tennis: United States Military Academy (West Point), Hannah Kilbane - golf: Butler University, Irene Travis - softball: University of
Missouri St. Louis, Alex Hirschfield - football: University of Dayton, Rachel DeFries - volleyball: Truman State University, Evy Makris - volleyball: Illinois Wesleyan University, Peter Bukiri - swimming: Colorado School of Mines, Pat Nolan - wrestling: University of Michigan, Marissa Nugent - soccer: Tiffin University.
