Sandburg Debate excels at Fremd Tourney

After 5 rounds of debate, at a tournament hosting over 35 schools and 450 debaters, the Eagles came out on top.

Carl Sandburg High School Debaters headed north this Saturday to debate at the 37th annual William Fremd Debate Tournament in Palatine. After 5 rounds of debate, at a tournament hosting over 35 schools and 450 debaters, the Eagles came out on top.

The topic for the month is RESOLVED: In response to the current crisis, a government should prioritize the humanitarian needs of refugees over its national interests. The Lincoln Douglas topic is RESOLVED: In the United States criminal justice system, jury nullification ought to be used in the face of perceived injustice.
