Sandburg Jazz Fest Moves to Gaelic Park

Carl Sandburg Music Boosters event featuring student performers planned at larger venue on February 24.

ORLAND PARK, IL - The Jazz Fest Dinner and Dance, a popular event by the Carl Sandburg Music Boosters last year, returns in 2017 at a larger venue.

This year's fundraiser will start at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24 at Chicago Gaelic Park in Oak Forest. It will feature "professional level jazz" performances by musicians from Carl Sandburg High School and Jerling Junior High, according to a news release.

“This event was such a great success last year that we decided to host it again this year with a larger venue so that more people can attend and experience the evening" said Don Vacha, President of Carl Sandburg Music Boosters. "We are looking forward to showcasing our extremely talented students and their love for the jazz genre."
