Sandburg Model UN competes at Carthage College

Take home 6 of 18 awards

Sandburg High School Model United Nations delegates traveled to Kenosha on Friday to compete against over 430 delegates in Carthage College’s 10th Model United Nations Conference. Sandburg Delegates represented nations like Germany, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and Nigeria and debated a variety of issues from Women’s Rights and Climate Change to Cyber-warfare and the Russian/Ukraine Crisis.

After several hours of intense debate and competition, Sandburg Delegates walked away with 6 of the 18 awards given.
