Sandburg's Phil Januszewski is Illinois State University Department of Chemistry Honored Alum

Illinois State University recognized Sandburg High School's Phil Januszewski as the Department of Chemistry Honored Alum last week during its Homecoming Celebration. Januszewski was selected in recognition of his consistent and positive attitude in his continued support of ISU and the Chemistry Department. During the day of the ceremony, Januszewski met with current students and faculty while sitting in a class of his choosing with Department of Chemistry Chair, Dr. Craig McLaughlin. He also gave a guest lecture for the Chemistry Department’s Friday Seminar, where he spoke to undergrads, grad students, and faculty about his career path, the overlap between ISU and his current life/career, and advice for students.
