Sandburg's Siroky is Orland Park's Top Spring Sports Athlete

Bill Siroky's powerful net play helped Sandburg capture the IHSA boys volleyball state championship.

Siroky led the Eagles to the IHSA boys volleyball state championship.

He was named to the Chicago Sun-Times All-Area Team.

He landed seven kills in the state title match against Naperville North as Sandburg notched a straight-sets victory.

Playing in the middle hitter slot, he went above and beyond the call of duty. If he wasn't a statiscal leader on any given night, he was leading the team from a personal standpoint.

Personal

Siroky will attend Princeton and play volleyball in the Ivy League. He plans to study some type of science or engineering.

The Sandburg boys' volleyball public address announcer called Siroky the "future leader of the free world."
