Sandra J. Griffiths (nee Fredendall), 72, peacefully passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 at her home in Orland Park, IL. She is survived by her husband Frank, son Troy (Megan) Griffiths, daughter Tracy (Brian) Pautsch, and was the loving grandmother of Ethan and Hannah Pautsch, and beloved sister and aunt to many.
Sandra was born on January 19, 1944 in Chicago, IL to Lloyd and Ruth (Mensching) Fredendall. She graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BS and MA in elementary education. She was a first and second grade teacher at Memorial School in Tinley Park for ten years before deciding to stay home with her children. Services were held privately with the immediate family.
