Sauk Village Women Accused in Macy's Shoplifting Spree

Prosecutors said women stole $920 in clothing from the Orland Square Macy's.

A pair of Sauk Village women were charged with retail theft after they allegedly went on a shoplifting spree at the Orland Square Macy’s.

Stephanie Daniels and LaTina Lewis, both 20, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on retail theft charges.

Prosecutors said the women stole 15 clothing items totaling $920 between them. The clothing included t-shirts, socks, Polos and sunglasses.

One of the women works at a pizza restaurant in Chicago Heights; the other is sophomore at a university on Chicago’s North Side.

Bail for each woman was at $125,000. Their next court date is July 14.
