Search Warrant Turns Up Over Pound of Pot, Scales, Baggies: Cops

Orland Park police received information about possible drug sales at 19-year-old Tinley Park man's home, prosecutor said.

ORLAND PARK, IL -- Orland Park police found a large quantity of cannabis and packaging materials while executing a search warrant at a Tinley Park home, prosecutors said. Jacob Siedlecki, 19, appeared before Cook County Judge Michael Kane on a felony charge of manufacture and delivery of cannabis. Siedlecki is also facing a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

A drug investigation that began in Orland Park yielded information regarding possible unlawful drug sales from a home in the 7700 block of West 167th Street in Tinley Park. On March 28, Orland Park police raided the home targeting Siedlecki in a search warrant, the prosecutor said. Police found more than a pound-and-a-half of marijuana and $470 in cash, as well as numerous items of paraphernalia, including scales and baggies, according to the charges.

Siedlecki allegedly admitted to police to owning most of the cannabis and that he had been selling it. The prosecutor said Siedlecki has pending theft and possession cases.
