ORLAND PARK, IL -- Sen. Bill Cunningham and Rep. Fran Hurley are partnering with the Illinois Department of Employment Security in hosting a hiring fair on Friday, Nov. 18. The hiring fair will be held at the Orland Park Civic Center located at 14750 Ravinia, Orland Park.
This is an opportunity for job hunters to network with potential employers about current and future opportunities. The event is open to the general public and runs from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The first half hour is set aside for veterans only.
“One of the most important things we can do as public officials is connect job seekers with employment opportunities,” Cunningham said in a news release. “We urge employers in our community to come out and meet with candidates about opportunities within our district.”
