Smashburger Celebrates Orland Park Opening With Ribbon-Cutting
The Colorado-based fast casual burger restaurant is now open on South LaGrange Road, which is the chain's sixth Illinois location.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Smashburger, the Colorado-based, fast casual restaurant known for smashed and seared burgers, continued its expansion throughout the greater Chicago area over the weekend when it opened in Orland Park.
The restaurant chain’s latest Illinois location celebrated on Saturday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that included Mayor Keith Pekau and Village Trustee Michael Milani. The Orland Park location is now open at 15061 S. LaGrange Road and is Smashburger’s sixth location in Illinois.
The chain, which first opened in Denver in 2018, has 370 locations nationwide, according to its website.

Smashburger uses fresh, never frozen certified angus beef patties and smashes, seasons and sears them to perfection, according to the company’s website. The restaurant also offers chicken and black bean patties as optional proteins and also offers hand-spun shakes made with Haagen Dasz ice cream.
Smashburger also offers Keto-friendly, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options as well. The chain has locations in 37 states and has other locations in Chicago, Schaumburg and Oak Lawn, according to its website.
