St. Michael School's SuperFan

St. Michael School recognizes their super fan

St. Michael School’s Football program recognized their fellow classmate, Jillian Marino, with a special “Superfan” award. A current 8th grader, who also participates in many extra curricular activities, Jillian attended every varsity football game this season with her parents, Bill and Laurie Marino.

Jillian has also cheered her fellow classmates at cheer competitions, and volleyball, basketball and soccer games. Jillian, herself, participates in volleyball, choir, drama club, the FLL robotics team, among many other extra curricular activities and she tries to coordinate her schedule to attend as many events, as possible.

Jillian created a tshirt at the beginning of the year that states, “Superfan”. Throughout the year, she is having all of the team members sign her shirt. “It is truly amazing to see the positive reaction of her classmates, especially when they shout out to her, in the stands.” says Laurie Marino, Jillian’s mom. “In a time when you hear so many stories about bullying, it is heartwarming to see the support Jillian has for her classmates, and the support that they have for her and each other.”
