ORLAND PARK, IL — After a two-year hiatus, St. Michael's annual, four-day community festival makes its triumphant return this year—and it's likely no one's more excited about it than the kids are about the carnival.

The family fest is set to run Thursday, Sept. 15 through Sunday, Sept. 18 at 14325 Highland Ave., with a full slate of carnival rides, food, beer, and live entertainment. A beer tent and televised football games will also be offered.

Formerly known as St. Michael SummerFest, the event was moved to September in 2009 to coincide with the opening of the parish’s multipurpose center at 14327 Highland Ave.

"COVID prevented us from holding the Fest in 2020 and 2021, so we are thrilled to host the event again," said Fall Fest Committee Chair Jamie Cullen. "The students of St. Michael are VERY excited to have the carnival back."

The event—the largest fundraiser benefiting St. Michael's school—is organized by the St. Michael School Advisory Board.
