Step into the Spotlight: Dancing with the Senior Stars Auditions

ORLAND PARK, IL — Orland Township Supervisor Paul O'Grady and the Board of Trustees are thrilled to invite senior dancers to participate in the upcoming auditions for the highly anticipated event, “Dancing with the Senior Stars.” This is a wonderful opportunity for seniors to showcase their talents and compete for the prestigious Mirror Ball Trophy.

Auditions are set to take place on at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Arthur Murray Dance Studio, located at 16131 S. La Grange Rd. in Orland Park, IL.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own music and prepare a dance routine lasting up to three minutes. We welcome performances in all styles, including ballroom, Latin, and contemporary dance. Don't forget to wear your dancing shoes for an evening filled with joy, camaraderie, and friendly competition. Registration is required.

“Dancing with the Senior Stars is a fantastic opportunity for our seniors to express themselves through dance, connect with the community, and showcase their incredible talents. It’s not just a competition; it’s a celebration of life, joy, and the vibrant spirit of our seniors.” said Supervisor Paul O'Grady.

The competition will take place at Georgios Banquets, located at 8800 W 159th St, Orland Park, IL 60462 on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Tickets for the event will be sold at Orland Township, 14807 S. Ravinia Ave. in Orland Park, for $30 starting Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Proceeds support the Orland Township Scholarship Foundation.
