This Weekend: Bag Crawl, Oktoberfest and Pumpkins

Food, drink, arts, entertainment, outdoors, benefit and government events happening this weekend, Oct. 6 - Oct. 9, in the Orland, Palos, Tinley and Oak Forest area.

Now that it's dark in the morning and dark after work, you may start to feel as nocturnal as a catfish. Look on the bright side! The weekend is just around the corner, with enough events to make you as happy as a raccoon in a trash can.

Sunday, October 9
, 12 p.m. | "Bag Crawl" down Oak Park avenue this Sunday. Participants get opportunities for prizes, gaming opportunities and food. There is a $25 entry free. This is a 21 and up event.


Saturday, October 8
, 6:30 p.m. |
Sample beer, brats, pretzels, play in a bean bag tournament, split the pot and more at this 2nd annual Oktoberfest. Admission is $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Designated drivers get a discount. This is a 21 and up event.

This is a free event.
