Nightlife, movies, teen/kid friendly and charitable events happening this weekend, Aug. 25 - 28, in the Orland, Palos, Tinley and Oak Forest area.

The Heights & The Lemming Band

Teens grades 7 - 12 can listen to music of the Heights and the Lemming Band at the Bridge Teen Center. Admission is free with a student membership application on file or a $5 cover without.
Bright Starts Family Storytime
August 27, 10 - 10:30 a.m. | Orland Park Public Library
Start the school year off right with finger plays, stories and songs. No registration is needed, but space is limited.
Charitable
August 27, 3 p.m.– 8 p.m. | 115 Bourbon St
Help fight childhood cancer at the 115 Bourbon Street "Cure It" benefit. The $35 admission includes food, spirits and entertainment.

Watch the girls’ swimming and diving teams of Lincoln-Way West, Lincoln-Way North and Lincoln-Way East participate in a continuous hour of relay swimming to benefit ongoing sarcoma research at the University of Chicago. Concessions will be available for spectators. Charitable donations are welcome.
