Treasure Chest Foundation Announces New Board Member

Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation's newly appointed Board Member Salvatore Cirrincione.

The Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation is pleased to announce a new appointment to the Board of Directors. Joining the Board is Palos Heights resident Salvatore Cirrincione. Salvatore is a proficient Sales Executive whose goal is to bring connections to the Treasure Chest Foundation, thus helping the organization grow.

“We are fortunate to have Sal as part of our board as we continue to strengthen the Treasure Chest Foundation,” said Colleen Kisel, Founder and CEO. “We have strong leadership in place and we couldn’t be more pleased with Sal’s appointment. Sal has served as a volunteer during 2017 and brings a passionate commitment to the Treasure Chest Foundation.”

The Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, provides comfort and distraction from painful procedures to children and teens undergoing treatment for cancer by providing a toy, gift or gift card from a treasure chest/cabinet. The organization currently serves more than 13,000 children and teens monthly in 52 Children’s Cancer Treatment Centers across the nation.

The Treasure Chest Foundation is dedicated to supporting pediatric cancer patients and their families by fully and continuously stocking a decorated treasure chest and large cabinet located in outpatient areas within cancer treatment centers. The Foundation provides age-appropriate, new and exciting toys, gifts and gift cards to every patient. The gift cards are designated exclusively for teenage patients.
