Viewfinder: Robert Brasher, Library Artist of the Month

Robert Brasher's work is beautiful in a battered way. His scenes of Chicago evoke a timeless toughness, but are also painstakingly detailed. Take a closer look when viewing, and a whole new level of depth can be seen that isn't so apparent from afar.

Brasher will be at the 7 p.m. on Friday for a meet and greet. His work will be on display throughout March.
