Village Extends Deadline for University of Chicago Outpatient Center in Orland Park

Orland Park trustees Monday once again pushed back the deadline to ink an agreement with University of Chicago Medicine, for the $67 million outpatient center slotted for downtown Orland Park.

Officials Monday extended the window until April to finalize the details, including a lend-lease agreement, Chicago Tribune reports. Though pushing back the deadline, both entities are moving forward with their parts in the 120,000-square-foot outpatient facility at the northwest corner of La Grange Road and 143rd Street. University representatives hope to break ground in the spring, according to the report.
