Von Maur Celebrates Grand Opening Saturday In Orland Square

ORLAND PARK, IL — Those of you missing the old Carson’s may want to check out the new Von Maur store that will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, Nov. 2, in Orland Square Mall. To commemorate the opening of the new department store known for fashion-forward apparel, an expansive shoe department, accessories, beauty, and gifts,, a special grand opening is being planned. The mall is located at LaGrange Road and 149th Street in Orland Park.

Von Maur President and CEO Jim von Maur and employees at the new Orland Square location will lead a ribbon ceremony before the store opens to shoppers. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy a day’s worth of family-friendly activities include an 8-foot-tall gumball machine, vendor trunk shows, a DJ, face painters, balloon twisters, photo boothj and more. Guests will also receive complimentary roses of chocolates (while supplies last) as well as opportunities to win prizes and gifts with purchase.

With more than 30 locations nationwide, this will be Von Maur’s fourth location in the Chicago area and first in the city’s south suburbs.
