Orland Park Residents Will Pay More for Water, Metra Parking
Trustees this week approved the 2015 budget, which includes $39.7 million in spending on capital improvements.

Orland Park residents will see higher water rates and shell out more for Metra parking, as part of the village’s newly approved 2015 budget.
Trustees Monday signed off on the $157.2 million budget, which details $39.7 million in capital improvements, and a 10 percent increase in spending. The property tax levy will stay the same, expected to bring in $13.4 million.
Water rates will increase, with residents using 10,000 gallons of water per month paying about $50 more per year. Metra daily parking fees will increase from $1.25 to $1.50, and the monthly fee will rise to $35, from $30.
