1 Person Injured After Hit-And-Run Causes 3-Car Crash: Cops

Oswego police are investigating the Wednesday night crash that happened at the intersection of Route 34 and Pfund Court.

OSWEGO, IL — Two cars piled up at the intersection of Route 34 and Pfund Court Wednesday evening after a pickup truck hit the first sedan, which struck another, and fled, Oswego police said.

The pickup truck was turning onto Route 34 from Pfund Court around 5 p.m. when it hit a sedan, driven by a 20-year-old woman from Montgomery, driving west on Route 34.

The collision caused the car to hit another sedan, driven by a 34-year-old Plano resident, stopped in traffic, according to police.

Oswego police officials reported the 34-year-old woman was injured but didn't require an ambulance. The other driver was not injured in the crash.

The crash is currently under investigation, police said.
