2 Patrol Deputies Hired At Kendall County Sheriff's Office
Andrei Dublea and Dan Malkowski were sworn in by Sheriff Dwight Baird on Oct. 13.

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office has hired two new deputies to fill vacancies in the Patrol Division. Andrei Dublea and Dan Malkowski were sworn in on October 13th, 2022 by Sheriff Dwight Baird.
They will complete an internal office acclimation training phase and will be paired with experienced field training officers for a rigorous field training program.

Deputy Dublea served as a Romanian Border Police Officer for seven years prior to moving to the United States in 2016. He studied at the College of DuPage and worked as a police officer with the Vernon Hills Police Department for nine months before being hired by the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Malkowski worked as a police officer with the Sheridan Police Department for six years, the Marseilles Police Department for two years, and the Sandwich Police Department for five years before being hired by the Sheriff’s Office.
