2 Scholarship Opportunities Available From Kendall County Juvenile Justice Council

The scholarships are open to Kendall County students who are graduating this spring and planning to continue their education in the fall.

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The Kendall County Juvenile Justice Council is giving out two scholarships to students graduating this spring.

The Council will award a scholarship of $1,000 and $500 to two 2026 high school graduates residing in Kendall County.

These are the requirements:

  • Applicants must be a Kendall County resident graduating from high school in the 2025-26 school year or a current member of the Kendall County Juvenile Justice Council.
  • Scholarships must be used at a higher learning institution, including a four-year college or university, a junior college or a vocational school.
  • The scholarships can only be applied to the cost of tuition, books and fees.
  • Students must be enrolled as a full-time student during the 2026-27 school year.

Applications can be found on the Kendall County government website, at the Kendall County State's Attorney's Office, 807 John St., or by emailing Ryan Phelps, rphelphs@kendallcountyil.gov.

Students must submit an application by April 24. The award winners will be announced May 31.
