4th Annual Oswego Police Explorer Car, Truck Show Is Coming Up

OSWEGO, IL — Car lovers have another opportunity to check out new and classic cars at the upcoming Oswego Police Explorer Post-hosted car and truck show, set to take place on Sept. 11.

The fourth annual event will start at 9 a.m. at the Kendall 11 Movie Theater, located at 95 Fifth Street, and will run until 1 p.m. At the show, open to the public, guests can also enjoy complimentary coffee, an on-site raffle and door prizes.

Those who want to enter their cars into the show have to pay a $5 registration fee per vehicle.

Setting this car show apart from others, people looking to sell their cars can bring them to the lot and register them in the car corral — where cars for sale are displayed — for $15 per car.

At noon, trophies will be presented to people with winning cars in a variety of categories, including top 20, best paint, best Jeep or off-road vehicle, chiefs award, and best original car and truck — both non-restored.
