84-Year-Old Man Hospitalized After Crash On Route 34: Police
The Montgomery man was driving down Route 34 when he hit a vehicle making a left onto southbound Ogden Falls.
OSWEGO, IL — An 84-year-old Montgomery man was taken to a local hospital after a Monday night crash near the intersection of Route 34 and Ogden Falls Boulevard in Oswego, police said.
The man was driving a Mitsubishi Outlander east on Route 34 when he hit a Nissan Maxima driven by a 19-year-old woman, who was turning left onto southbound Ogden Falls Boulevard around 8:17 p.m., according to police.
Oswego police officials said a preliminary investigation shows the woman, from Aurora, had a green turn signal while the man had a solid red light at the intersection.

The man had possible injuries, their extent unknown, police said.
“Possible injuries are those that are reported by the person or are indicated by his/her behavior, but no wounds or injuries are readily evident,” police said.

He taken to a local hospital, while the woman was uninjured and refused medical attention, according to officials.
