A section of County Line Road will be closed on June 28 during filming for a new series from executive produce Bryan Cranston.

PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, IL — A section of County Line Road will be closed for most of the day Wednesday, June 28 during filming for a new Amazon series. Sony/Amazon will be filming the upcoming science-fiction anthology series "Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams" at the intersection of South County Line Road, Wheeler Road and Renwick Road from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to the Plainfield Township Highway Department. During filming, County Line will be closed from Route 126 to Walker Road.
"Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston is an executive producer for the series, which will air on Amazon Video in the United States. Cranston is also slated to star in an episode of the anthology, based on the works of Illinois native and author Philip K. Dick. No premiere date has been announced for the show, which will also feature appearances by actors including Steve Buscemi, Greg Kinnear, Anna Paquin, Terrence Howard and Vera Farmiga.
During the road closure, drivers are advised to take one of two marked detours along either Ridge Road or Drauden Road. More information on the detours and a map are posted on the Plainfield Township Highway Department website. (For more local news, click here to sign up for real-time news alerts.
