OSWEGO, IL — As this spring's rendition of Wine on the Fox approaches, Oswego police are warning drivers of increased traffic delays and congestion in the downtown area.
The 20th anniversary of the wine festival, bringing together 14 wineries from across the state, is planned at Hudson Crossing Park. Wine enthusiasts will be able to sample more than 100 wines from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 2 and from noon to 6 p.m. May 3, rain or shine.

Those not attending the festival but traveling through downtown Oswego should expect delays on Route 34 and Madison, Washington and Main streets, police said.
"Motorists may want to consider alternate routes around these areas if they are not coming in for the event," law enforcement officials wrote in a news release.
Access to Wine on the Fox will be limited to a single entrance at the park, according to police. Parking will be available at these locations:
