OSWEGO, IL — Summer has officially begun at Keller's Farmstand in Oswego and Naperville.
The farm's summer season began July 9, with homegrown sweet corn and a variety of summer produce on the docket.
Current offerings include tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, watermelon, peaches and muskmelon. Produce selection changes throughout the summer as fruits and vegetables reach peak ripeness.
In August, local tomatoes are typically harvested, and early apple varieties go in season later in the month.
In addition to produce, the farmstand also carries local honey and gourmet food, including pickles, jams, pie fillings, salsas, popcorn and salad dressings.
The farmstand operates at 2500 Johnson Road in Oswego and at 516 Knoch Knolls Road in Naperville. Summer hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
