OSWEGO, IL — Seven cars were involved in a collision Tuesday morning on Route 34, Oswego police said.
The chain-reaction crash was caused by a 16-year-old boy from Oswego who was unable to stop in time, spokesperson Cathy Nevara told Patch. A domino effect occurred through the seventh car.
The crash happened just after 11 a.m. on eastbound Route 34 west of Boulder Hill Pass. Oswego High School is a mile down the street. All but one driver were under the age of 17, officials said.
No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued, Nevara said.
