Another Spooky Monster Mash Bash Thanks to Volunteers, Sponsors

Thank you for another spook-tacular Monster Mash Bash! We couldn't have done it without our wonderful volunteers and sponsors!

Children in Oswego celebrated Halloween in style at the Oswegoland Park District’s Monster Mash Bash on Saturday, October 28th. A minion was spotted in the bounce house, Tinker Bell was getting her face painted, and superheroes soared across the obstacle course with skill. A little under 500 kids and their families came to the event to play games, meet favorite princesses, win prizes, and have fun! A community event like this would not be possible without the help of all our wonderful junior high and high school aged volunteers. We are grateful that our student volunteers spent their afternoon making this a memorable event for all the kids. Thank you to Physician’s Immediate Care and Kumon of Oswego for sponsoring this event, Oswego High School for the use of their field house, and Oswego Target for their donation of popcorn for our volunteers. Thank you to our community groups, the Character Counts Coalition and the Oswego Kiwanis for providing additional games at our event. We would also like to thank the 501st Legion for stopping by in their Star Wars attire to meet the kids! Thank you also to Oswegoland Park District’s gymnastics and As We Grow Preschool programs for providing fun activities all afternoon. This event has been a community tradition for over 30 years, allowing children to have a fun and safe place to celebrate.
