Armed Robber Uses Drive-Thru to Hold Up Oswego Starbucks: Police

OSWEGO, IL — A white man in his mid-30s robbed an Oswego Starbucks at gunpoint Monday morning.

According to Oswego Police Department Public Information Officer Cathy Nevara, the robbery occurred at 5 a.m. when the man went through the drive-thru, located at 2750 US Hwy. 34, showed a gun and said he would shoot unless he got money.

The man made off with around $200, Nevara said. It’s unknown in which direction he drove off.

He was driving a dark-colored Dodge Sedan, Nevara said. He was described as having short red hair, a heavy build and being around 5’8’’. He was also wearing a green shirt.
