Arranmore Farm & Polo Club Hosts Record Number Turnout for First "CabCab" of the Summer

Approximately 1500 People Were in Attendance for the "British Invasion" Themed Evening

It was an evening of music, food and fun at Arranmore Farm & Polo Club’s "CabCab" (Cabernet Cabaret) concert series that took place on Saturday, July 15th. Themed British Invasion, a record number of attendees (approximately 1500) were entertained with an eclectic mix of music performed by some of Chicago’s “best” in the theatre scene. “Brits” whose songs were featured included Amy Winehouse, Elton John, Duran Duran, The Beatles, David Bowie, One Direction, George Michael, and many more.

"CabCab" is held on Arranmore’s gorgeous 300-acre lawn in Oswego, Illinoins three times a summer. Attendees are encouraged to BYOP (Bring Your Own Party) with food, drinks, blankets, chairs and tables. Whether it’s cocktails and crudités or beer and brats, all are sure to have a great time!

Saturday, August 5th –I Love Rock-n-Roll

Last season, we heard your cries of despair as I Love Rock-n-Roll came to a close. We heard you shouting “Ozzy! Def Leppard! Freebird!!” and then, we knew. We had to finish what we started. Get ready for round two. Dust off your vintage concert-t’s. Classic Rock. ‘Nuff said. Those over 40, start head-banging-conditioning-exercises now.

Saturday, September 9th –Home Sweet Home

Arranmore has become a “home away from home” for so many people (and horses). We welcome you back for one more chance to rock the lawn. Dance away at “Our House…in the middle of the field”. Jam out to Daughtry, Edward Sharpe, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Miranda Lambert, Flo Rida and Bruce Springsteen and more artists that have paid homage to idea of “home sweet home”.
