Beats & Eats Starts This Weekend In Oswego: Lineup

Your guide to the the fun food and music fest returning Saturday, July 28 and Aug. 25.

OSWEGO, IL — Downtown Oswego will be filled with music, food and friends on Main Street during the last Saturdays of July and August, as the Beats & Eats summer concert series kicks off at 5 p.m., July 28. Beats & Eats continues at that same time on Aug. 25, bringing more live music and food truck favorites. Beats & Eats takes place on Main Street from Jefferson to Washington Streets.

Besides free admission to both fun music events, there are many things to enjoy from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on both Beats & Eats dates.

  • The Hurricane Project: 5:45 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.
  • Concrete Roots: 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
  • Dan Hubbard: 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.

"Eats" for Saturday, July 28:

Favorites from Cheesies, Lottie's Lemonade, Señor Taco, Boo Coo Roux, Umbrella Azul, Team FIB BBQ, Happy Lobster, and many more.

Event organizers will soon announce the lineup for next month's music and food fun.

New this year: Beats & Eats VIP Patio:

Get an exclusive upfront seat on the VIP patio adjacent to the front of the stage, plus a VIP lanyard and wristband, and a 20-oz. souvenir glow mug. Beat the lines with access to the beer tent's VIP counter, and as an additional bonus, VIPs will get to purchase drinks in their 20-oz. mug for the same price as a 16-oz. pour.
A limited quantity of VIP Patio tickets went on sale on Monday, July 16, at oswegobeatsandeats.com.

A few things to know before you go:

  • Re-entry is allowed.
  • ATM on premises.
  • Alcohol will be available for purchase.
  • No outside food or drink allowed.
  • No pets on festival grounds.

Partial proceeds from this year's Oswego Beats & Eats will provide "eats" for the Oswego Senior Center's lunch program and support music programs at School District 308 schools.
