July 16

Dean R. Holmstrom, 29, of Montgomery, was picked up on two failure to appear warrants. The arrest occurred in the 2700 block of Route 34.

A bicyclist was struck by a car while walking in a crosswalk. The incident occurred at N. Adams St. and Jackson St.

July 13

Breanna K. Wood, of St. Charles, was charged with retail theft and a warrant. The arrest occurred at Kohl’s in the 2500 block of Route 34.

A resident stated his vehicle was burglarized at an unknown location.

July 12

Ricardo Perez, 23, of Aurora, was charged with domestic battery. The incident occurred in the 2300 block of Route 34.

Police are investigating a theft of a purse in the 3000 block of Route 34.

Police received a report of a counterfeit $20 bill used at the Hallmark in the 3000 block of Route 34.

July 11

Police are investigating a bicycle stolen from the 300 block of Douglas Rd.
