Boil Order for Hunt Club Subdivision in Oswego

Residents will be notified when the order is lifted.

A precautionary water boil order is being issues after the Hunt Club Subdivision lost water pressure Friday morning when workers inadvertently closed a valve to the water line feeding the subdivision, according to a release from the Village of Oswego

Residents are asked to make sure to boil any water used for culinary or drinking purposes for five minutes prior to using in order to prevent possible exposure to some sort of contaminant. After five minutes, cool the water before consuming. You may continue to use the water for toilets and showering.

The Village will take samples of the water in the impacted area. These tests can take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours. Once the samples pass, the boil order can be lifted. Residents will be notified when the order is lifted.
