Boulder Hill Man Charged with Sex Offender Registration Act Violation

Man has since been released on bond.

On March 23, Kendall County Sheriff’s Detectives initiated an investigation regarding a violation of the Sex Offender Registration Act. The investigation revealed that an individual had failed to report being gone from their residence for more than three days as required by Illinois statute.

On May 7, the Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office charged Clyde K. Donley, a 59-year-old man from Boulder Hill, with Violation of the Sex Offender Registration Act – Failure to Report Address, a Class 3 felony. His bond was set at $25,000, with 10% to apply. Donley was taken into custody on May at the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office without incident. Donley bonded out the same day and awaits his next court appearance.
