Boulder Hill Shooting: 4 Detained After Shots Fired

Police said no one was injured in the incident.

OSWEGO TOWNSHIP, IL — Four people are in custody after a report of shots fired in the 0-100 block of Sierra Road in Boulder Hill Sunday evening, the Kendall County Sheriff's Office said. As of 9 p.m., deputies remained on the scene investigating what they said appears to be an isolated incident. Police received a report of shots fired just after 6 p.m., although no one was hurt in the shooting, according to the sheriff's office.

Det. Bryan Harl said the four individuals were detained in the area of Route 34 and Orchard Road, prompting an increased police presence in the area on Sunday evening. "There does not appear to be any danger to the public," Harl said in a statement.
