Boy, 16, Sent To Hospital With Possible Injury After Crash: Cops

The crash happened at the intersection of Fifth Street and Frontage Road Monday evening.

OSWEGO, IL — A 16-year-old boy was sent to a local hospital with possible injuries after a three-car crash at the intersection of Fifth Street and Frontage Road around 6:40 p.m. Monday, police said.

The boy was driving an SUV on Frontage Road attempting to cross multiple Fifth Street lanes — from one shopping center to another — when his car hit the side of an SUV, driven by a 54-year-old Oswego man. The car was then forced to hit a third SUV, driven by a 30-year-old Naperville woman, according to Oswego police.

The boy was the sole passenger in the car and was taken to a local hospital with possible injuries, police said.
