Kindergarten Kamp at Excel Preschool

With kindergarten right around the corner for many preschoolers, Excel Preschool in Oswego is pleased to offer Kindergarten Kamp for two weeks in August to help incoming kindergarteners review, refresh, & reinforce all of the wonderful skills they have learned in preschool to prepare them for kindergarten.  

Kindergarten Kamp will run, August 5-9 and August 12-16 from 9-11:30 AM (Your child must be attending kindergarten in fall 2013 to register) $90 per session.

PM sessions will be opened based on interest level.

Designed for the child who is starting kindergarten in the fall, this course will focus on reviewing letters & their sounds, numbers & math concepts, shapes, colors, writing skills, circle time, story time (and of course free play time too!). Learning centers which consist of activities and games that are fun and challenging will be used to reinforce these skills. Each week will offer different activities, games, and projects. Attend one week or both! 

And as an FYI for parents, this was just posted on District 308's website on April 30th^, "Don't miss this informational session to find out what skills your child should know, what tasks they should be doing independently and what you can do as a parent to help your child make this transition to kindergarten--whether half day or full day--as successful as possible" Countdown to Kindergarten Parent Only information sessions for all incoming kindergartners.
