Burglary In Boulder Hill Leads To Wilmington Man's Arrest: Sheriff

A resident reported several items missing after a visit from a contractor who had been hired to work on the house, officials said.

OSWEGO, IL — A man was arrested and charged in connection to a residential burglary that happened Feb. 15 in Boulder Hill, according to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to a house in the 0-100 block of Sonora Drive in Boulder Hill, a subdivision in Oswego Township. A resident reported several items missing after a visit from a contractor who had been hired to work on the house, officials said.

Following an investigation, the Kendall County State's Attorney's Office charged Jeffrey Henderson on March 28 with one count of residential burglary, a felony. The 42-year-old, of the 0-1000 block of North Washington Street in Wilmington, was taken into custody on a warrant Thursday and has since posted $3,000 bail.

Henderson's next court date has not yet been set, officials at the Kendall County State's Attorney's Office told Patch.
